Shine Bright Performing Arts proudly offers a dynamic, age-appropriate theatre experience designed specifically for homeschool students. Our Rising Stars and Shining Stars troupes meet weekly on Thursday mornings from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM, and culminate in a performance showcase, giving students the opportunity to explore acting, singing, movement, and storytelling in a supportive, professional environment.

This Spring 2026, our Homeschool Theatre Troupe is embarking on a Disney-inspired creative journey where heroes rise, villains scheme, and imagination takes center stage! From bold characters to magical storytelling and unforgettable music, students will help devise an original performance that celebrates the wonder of theatre and the magic of Disney. Whether your child dreams of being a fearless hero, a mischievous villain, or a magical storyteller behind the scenes, this program is designed to build confidence, creativity, and community in a fun and supportive environment.

Shining Stars (Grades 6th–12th)

Our Shining Stars troupe engages in a more advanced, process-driven rehearsal environment focused on performance technique, character development, and ensemble collaboration. Students will also assist in the creation of their own performance showcase. This class focuses on the collaboration of ideas drawing the students into the creative process.

• Focus Areas: script analysis, vocal performance, choreography, ensemble acting, and improvisation
• Ideal for students looking to grow as performers and leaders
• Culminates in a Disney inspired performance showcase.

Whether your student is stepping onstage for the first time or looking to refine their performance skills, the Shine Bright Homeschool Theatre Troupe is a space to create, grow, and shine.

What is a Performance Showcase?

A performance showcase is a devised performance that focuses on the learning process just as much as the final product. The emphasis of a performance showcase is to build foundational skills, exploring character and storytelling, and working together as an ensemble to focus on performance development. This experience is meant to currate a supportive and creative environment where students can grow, take risks, and celebrate their progress in front of a live audience.

Class Enrollment: $450 per student

A payment plan (a deposit plus a final payment due March 12th) is available. We can work with families to provide receipts to be approved for homeschool scholarships programs like Step Up. • ALL Payments must be paid in full in by the performance show date (May 21st) in order for your child to perform.
